Often, a haircut is not just a haircut. In “The Salon”, Nimmi, a middle-aged woman, strikes up a conversation with her hairstylist, and works through a loss while getting her hair cut. Through the course of a haircut, this short film explores both the conversations we have with others and with ourselves.
